Free practice tests for the exams that gate the trades

300 original practice questions, free in your browser, no signup. EPA 608 (the federal HVAC refrigerant cert), journeyman electrician (NEC-based, with your state's real exam logistics), NATE core, and OSHA 10/30 topic checks. Every answer explanation cites the rule it tests — and none of it is copied from a real exam.

OSHA 10 / 30 — the safety card (not an exam)

There is no OSHA test you can pass to skip the course — the card only comes from an authorized Outreach trainer. Our page explains what the card is, who actually needs it, and how to get it without getting scammed; the 50 topic questions are study aids for what the course covers.

Questions people actually ask

Are these real exam questions?

No — and that matters. Real certification questions are copyrighted, secure content; sites that leak them get delisted and sued, and studying leaks teaches you nothing durable. Every question here is original, written from the public source the exam tests (40 CFR Part 82, NEC article structure, 29 CFR 1910/1926), with the citation in the explanation.

Do I have to sign up or give an email?

No. Every test runs in your browser with no account, no email gate, and nothing sent to a server. Check your answers as many times as you like.

Which exam should I start with?

Getting into HVAC: EPA 608 — it is federal, takes weeks, and most technician jobs require it. Electrician apprentices approaching the journeyman exam: the NEC bank, plus your state page for the exam logistics. OSHA 10 is a training card, not an exam — see that page for how it actually works.

Are the practice tests really free? How does this site make money?

The tests are free with no catch. If we ever earn an affiliate commission when you buy something we link to (like a paid prep app or an exam seat), the link says so right there. See our disclosure page for the whole model.
