TradeOnRamp is run by Downshift. Reading the site collects nothing personal. If you ask for an alert, we store the email you typed plus the trade and metro you picked, and we use it for that alert and nothing else. Ask and it is deleted.

What we collect
- Alerts. Your email address, the trade and metro you chose, and a confirmation token. Nothing else. No name, no phone, no résumé.
- Shop claims and job posts. The shop name, a contact name, a work email, an optional website, and the pay ranges you choose to publish. The pay ranges are public by design and labelled “employer-stated”. The contact details are not published.
- Error reports. If you email us a correction, we keep the email thread so we can log the change publicly on the changelog. Your name is not published unless you ask for credit.
- Server logs. Standard request logs (IP address, user agent, path, timestamp) kept by our hosting provider for security and debugging, rotated on their default schedule.
What we do not do
- We do not sell, rent or share your email with schools, recruiters, sponsors or anyone else.
- We do not send anything but the alert you asked for. No newsletter, no “partner offers”.
- We do not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics scripts on the pages at this time. If that changes, this page changes first and says so.
How long, and how to delete it
Alert subscriptions live until you unsubscribe (one tap in any alert email) or ask us to remove them. Claims and posts live as long as the listing or profile is live, then 90 days. To see or delete anything we hold about you, email data@tradeonramp.com from the address in question. We answer within 14 days.
