Disclosure
Seekers never pay. Institutions do: trade schools (through disclosed, compliant referral forms), field-service software vendors (referral fees through The Job Numbers), and shops (a flat fee per verified hire, later). None of it changes a number, a ranking, or which sponsor or school appears. Nothing on this page is live yet in this build.
Revenue lines and their guardrails
- Trade-school referral forms (not yet live): every school is listed with its public IPEDS completions whether or not it pays; forms are marked as sponsored and are TCPA/FTC-compliant.
- Software referral fees via The Job Numbers bridge (Housecall Pro, Jobber, ServiceTitan programs): only on employer-facing links, always marked.
- Per-verified-hire fee to shops ($500–1,000 flat, later): the seeker is never charged and is told when a shop pays.
- Cert-prep and EPA 608 referral (not yet live): certifiers are listed from the EPA list regardless.
- Display advertising (not yet live): never inside a fact table.
- Job postings are free. A future “featured” tier would be labeled; the Stripe checkout in this build is a test-mode stub and charges nobody.
No line may exceed 40% of revenue. If a line ever conflicts with the accuracy of a row, the row wins.
